LCMS Conservatives Gather For Crucial LCA Chicago Meeting April 23-24

By: Rev. Jack Cascione

This will be a decisive and determinative meeting for the future of the LCMS.

In the same hotel "Consensus" will hold its meeting on Wednesday morning, "Lutheran Concerns Association" will hold its meeting on Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning, and the "Association of Confessional Lutherans" will hold its meeting on Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning.

The Rev. Daniel Preus, LCMS First Vice President will speak on Wednesday afternoon, and Dr. Dean Wenthe, President of the Concordia Seminary Fort Wayne, will speak on Thursday afternoon.  There will also be many more speakers to expound the conservative agenda for the 2004 LCMS Convention.

Reverend Larry White will not disappoint those who come to hear him speak.

The recent "Confidential Letter" endorsing Wenthe has raised the significance of the entire three and half day event.
