Schulz To Speak IN Jackson Missouri

By: Rev. Jack Cascione

(The following announcement was received from Pastor David Dissen.  Dr.
Wallace Schulz was fired from the Lutheran Hour by the LLL because he
suspended Dr. Benke for praying with non-Christian clergy in Yankee Stadium.
Schulz's decision was recently overturned by an LCMS appeals panel, which
admitted that Schulz's problem was that Schulz was only following the Bible
instead of LCMS resolutions and bylaws.  Schulz is now the public speaker
and evangelist for the Lutheran Heritage Foundation.)

Dr. Wallace Schulze, 2nd Vice President of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and Evangelist for the Lutheran Heritage Foundation will be the guest preacher at a LHF Rally at St. Paul Lutheran, 223 West Adams St. in Jackson , Missouri on Sunday, June 1st, 3:00 P.M.

Dr. Robert L. Rahn, Executive Director of the LHF will give a brief presentation on the history and work of the Lutheran Heritage Foundation.

The public is cordially invited to attend this special service.

The Lutheran Heritage Foundation is a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  It lays the foundation for church bodies to make Jesus Christ known around the world.  It accomplishes this task by translating, publishing and distributing confessional Lutheran books and materials, both traditional and contemporary.

Presently, the LHF is working in over 68 regions and more than 78 languages in the world.  It provides materials which are used in seminaries, Lutheran church bodies, and other mission settings.

The Lutheran Heritage Foundation has played a valuable role in the re-establishment of the Lutheran church in countries like Russia and in the emergence of the church in difficult places like Sudan .

New opportunities, such as outreach to Muslims in the United States , continue to challenge LHF to extend its translation and distribution efforts so that Jesus Christ is proclaimed to all.
